Vijayanagara Bimba is a Centre for Theatre Learning situated in Vijayanagara, Bengaluru. We have jubilantly completed two successful decades. The journey is marked with triumphs and achievements in its own stride. Today it is one of the pioneers in the field of Theatre Schools.

 

With a happy alumnus of 5000+ budding artists, Vijayanagara Bimba has more than 15 major productions that it boasts of including 14 full-length dramas, 5 ballets and 6 short plays. It conducts short term and long term theatre courses for children (3 - 15 years) to adults (16 years and above).

"Our summer camps are a class apart" as told by our patrons. It brings children face to face with various intricacies and nuances of theatre as a whole. They get trained by the ‘who is who’ of theatre on acting, dance, music, mime, drawing, crafts, costumes, makeup, lighting etc. Not just the classroom sessions but the programs like mock courts, children’s poet meets, group discussions, performances, media exposure are all planned and implemented by children taking the lead role.
